Yes, it’s this time of the year again, and I’m very excited about it. Once a year, PASS holds the largest and coolest event in the world for SQL Server and BI professionals. More than 5,000 people from more than 2,000 companies and more than 50 countries are attending the event this year. Oh, and me. I’m here too.
I’m writing this post from my hotel in Seattle, just before the opening keynote. I have already been around for two days, meeting people, going to some parties, running… But today the real thing begins. More than 200 technical sessions, lots of networking opportunities, community events, a huge exhibition hall, parties, and more. So much stuff in only 3 days…
I’m going to present my own session tomorrow, Thursday, at 03:15pm. It’s about how to work with parameters in SQL Server the right way, and how you can really boost performance of your application by handling parameters correctly and avoiding some common mistakes. I prepared a lot of great demos, and I also have a surprise for the attendees. I hope to see you in my session tomorrow…
That’s it for now. I’m off to the keynote…
